The Southern Courtyard features the original four structures that give Chowmahalla its meaning of 'Four Palaces' in Dakhini Urdu. These buildings synthesize Persian, Indo-Saracenic, Rajasthani, and European architectural styles across the 12-acre complex.

You will alternate between grass, gravel, and marble terrain as you explore. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring sunglasses for the bright afternoon sun.
